About this product
A palm-sized carbon dioxide meter you can carry from room to room.
Shows CO2, temperature and humidity on one colour screen, with an alarm and about 20 hours on a charge.
A portable carbon dioxide meter that fits in your palm and weighs 108g.
It reads carbon dioxide from 400 to 5000 ppm, using an infrared sensor.
Temperature and humidity show on the same full-colour screen, all at once.
An alarm sounds when the carbon dioxide reading goes over the standard level.
The built-in battery runs about 20 hours on a full charge, and you can use it while it charges.
This is the portable carbon dioxide meter. It fits in your palm, weighs 108g and runs on its own rechargeable battery.
It shows three readings on one screen at the same time: carbon dioxide in ppm, temperature and humidity. The CO2 range is 400 to 5000 ppm.
The sensor is infrared. The listing says that makes it quicker and more consistent than older chemical sensors.
The screen is a full-colour LED digital display with a backlight, and one key runs it. When the carbon dioxide reading goes over the standard level, it sounds an alarm.
A full charge gives about 20 hours of use, and it keeps working while it charges. Carry it round the house or the office to take readings, or hang it by the slots on the back and leave it in one room.
It measures and shows a number. It does not change the air in the room. What you do with the reading, like opening a window, is up to you.
Still deciding?
Not sure yet? That is fine.
You can change your mind. Irish and EU law give you 14 days from delivery, and our own policy gives you 15 days from purchase, whichever is later. Send it back unused in its packaging and we refund the price you paid and the standard delivery charge.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 goods must match their description, be fit for their purpose and be of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you are entitled to have them repaired or replaced, or in some cases to a price reduction or a refund. We pay the return postage. Got questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the Office CO2 Meter?
Both show carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity. This one is the palm-sized portable model, with a listed battery life of about 20 hours. The Office CO2 Meter is the large-display model.
What does it measure?
Carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity. All three show on the screen at the same time.
What CO2 range does it read?
400 to 5000 ppm.
What sensor does it use?
An infrared sensor. The listing says it gives quicker, more consistent readings than older chemical sensors.
How long does the battery last?
About 20 hours after a full charge.
Can I use it while it charges?
Yes. It can be used and charged at the same time.
Does it have an alarm?
Yes. It sounds an alarm when the carbon dioxide reading goes over the standard level.
Can I hang it on a wall?
Yes. There are slots on the back so you can hang it up.
How heavy is it?
108 grams, so it is easy to carry about.
Where can I use it?
The listing names bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, offices, cars, schools, hotels and campsites. It is small enough to move between them.
What is a good CO2 reading?
The listing gives below 800 ppm as a target for ventilation. Treat it as a guide for when to open a window or turn up the ventilation.
Why does the reading rise when people come in?
People breathe out carbon dioxide, so the number climbs in a busy room with little fresh air.
Is it a carbon monoxide alarm or a smoke alarm?
No. It is sold as a carbon dioxide meter. Do not use it in place of a carbon monoxide alarm or a smoke alarm.
Will it make my room healthier?
No. It measures and shows a number. It does not change the air. What you do with the reading is up to you.
Where does it ship from?
This one is picked and packed from our own warehouse stock.
How much is delivery on the CO2 Detector?
Free on orders of €75 or more. Below that it is a flat €25, whatever you order. Nothing is added at the end.
How long will it take to arrive?
5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. The handling time is the part before it leaves us and the 5 to 7 days is the delivery itself.
Is there a faster delivery option?
Not through the website. Every order goes on the same tracked service. If you need something by a particular date, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Do you deliver across the whole of Ireland?
Yes, to every county. We are an online supplier with no shop or showroom, which is part of how the pricing works.
Is anything added at the checkout?
No. You pay the price shown for the goods plus the delivery charge, if there is one, and nothing else is added at the checkout.
Can I change my mind after it arrives?
Yes. Irish and EU law give you 14 days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason, and our own policy accepts returns within 15 days of purchase, whichever is later. Send it back unused in its packaging; the return postage is yours, and we refund what you paid for the goods and the standard delivery charge.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
Tell us and we will sort it. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 goods have to match their description, be fit for their purpose and be of satisfactory quality, and if they are not, that is ours to fix at no cost to you. Email theteam@customersupport.care with a photograph and your order number.
Can I cancel after ordering?
Yes, free of charge until it ships. Most orders leave within 24 hours, so email us within 12 hours of ordering to be sure of catching it. Once it has shipped, your 14 days to withdraw still apply.
Do I get a receipt and a tracking number?
A receipt by email as soon as payment goes through, and a second email with the tracking number once the order ships.
What payment methods do you take?
Card payments through our checkout, and PayPal. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by us.
What currency are your prices in?
Euro. Every price on this site is the price you pay in euro, with no conversion at the end.
Is there a discount code?
Yes. `valued-customer` takes 15 percent off your goods at the cart. It applies to the products rather than to the delivery.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
No. We are an online supplier with no physical shop or showroom, and that is deliberate: the saving goes into the price rather than into a lease.
Can I buy several CO2 Detectors for an office?
Yes, and if you want more than a handful use the wholesale quote page and we will price it properly rather than making you add them to the cart one at a time.
